Easy Summer Cooking: BBQ Pulled Pork Perfection
Living in the city without a grill and dealing with hot hot temperatures has made cooking tough. But just in time for the 4th of July when BBQ is a must, I broke out one of favorite (and simplest!) summer recipes: BBQ Pulled Pork.

This recipe honestly could not be easier. It has just a few ingredients and the hands off help of a crock pot, but it’s incredibly tasty (probably why the recipe has over 2 thousand user reviews and 4+ stars!). The secret is really in the quality of the BBQ sauce, so don’t skimp on that. My personal favorite is Dinosaur Bar-b-que Sauce. It has a cult-like following for a reason
Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork
recipe from AllRecipes
Ingredients: (serves 8)
1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
1 (12 fluid oz) can or bottle root beer
1 (18 oz) bottle your favorite BBQ sauce (see above, I use Dinosaur BBQ Sauce)
8 hamburger buns or quality rolls
.
Cooking Instructions:
1. Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker; pour the root beer over the meat.
2. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily. The actual length of time may vary according to individual slow cooker. But you should be set with 6-7 hours.
3. Drain the juices and shred the meat. Stir in barbecue sauce.
AND THAT’S IT!
